Dr. Sherone Smith-Sánchez is President and CEO of Talawah Turf International LLC (TTI), a full-service Executive Leadership Development Consultancy that focuses on Education development and leadership. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Smith-Sánchez's passion is to support the advancement of leadership in the private and public-sector, government entities, corporate organizations, and small business entrepreneurs. Dr. Sherone Smith-Sánchez helps clients in their endeavors to achieve success through strong leadership acumen by developing and establishing best in class resources with the undergirding strength of education. Accomplishment within the nationally accredited Head Start program, her experience reaches nationally and internationally through community platforms of professional development and coaching. Dr. Smith-Sánchez successfully held the role of Assistant Commissioner for Program Development with the NYC Administration for Children’s Services. Additionally, she has served in a variety of Social Service Executive Leadership roles for the City and State of New York, where she successfully devised, wrote, and reviewed proposals for the state and city-wide programs across all levels of leadership and operations, crafting numerous state and federal granting-writing requests for early childhood throughout the State of New York. Dr. Sherone Smith-Sánchez services as an Adjunct Professor for York College of Queens, New York, and Molloy College of Rockville Centre, New York.
Amongst Dr. Smith-Sánchez's many educational accomplishments, her academic credentials include Ed.D., MA, MSc, BFA, a Doctorate in Educational Administration from T.C. Columbia University; an M.A. in Educational Administration and Organizational Leadership from Columbia University and a Master of Science from Bank Street College of Education.
Professional Development | Grant Writing Consultant
Dr. McLeod-Cato has 16 years of comprehensive experience in early childhood education and lends her services to community-based organizations. She is a subcontractor with Talawah Turf International and works as a Grant-writer, Coach, and Professional Development Specialist. In that capacity, she provides training in the following areas: organizational leadership and management, early childhood environment and curriculum, positive interaction and guidance, observation, and assessment, health, nutrition and safety, family, and community partnerships. Dr. McLeod-Cato is versed in agency policies, philosophy, and applicable state and federal regulations. Her expertise includes establishing and implementing early childhood best practices, program management, and operational improvement. Amongst several notable roles, Dr. McLeod-Cato’s experience comes from having served as the Executive Director of Lutheran Social Services of New York of their Early Childhood department.
Amongst Dr. McLeod-Cato noteworthy educational accomplishments, she has a Doctorate in Philosophy in Early Childhood Education from Arizona North Central University, a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education/Special Education from Touro College, New York (NY), and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from the City College of the City University of New York.

Doriel Inez Larrier is the founder of LearnToGrowU, Larrier’s Education and Resource Network, where the motto is “I plant seeds to help you grow”. A teacher/speaker turned entrepreneur, and livestream host, she is recognized for strategic growth and virtual development of youth, entrepreneurs, and small businesses, using digital marketing. Since 2001, she has trained more than 100 entrepreneurs to start up and expand businesses, as well as provided technical assistance to governmental agencies on workflow and quality control. Dr. Lee specializes in supporting English Language Learners. Dr. Lee started her teaching career as a middle school bilingual special education teacher over 30 years ago. After 12 years of teaching, she went on to work at Region 8/CLSO/CFN as an Instructional Team Support Specialist. During her time there she wore many hats and continued to build her knowledge of quality bilingual instruction. Among her passions are world travel, literature, music, learning new languages, and stretching students intellectually. Dr. Lee earned her Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University in 2003.

Antonée is a Professional Development Specialist for the Council for Professional Recognition in addition to a Non-Teaching Adjunct for the City of New York Professional Studies department, where she conducts field placement observation visits for candidates who are looking to obtain their CDA credential. She is currently working for the NY Early Childhood
Professional Development Institute as a Career Advisor to the Early Childhood Education workforce, overseeing two major cohorts. She has over seven years of experience in Early Head
Start and Head Start programs, holding positions such as Lead Infant & Toddler Teacher, Family Advocate, Academy Director, and Classroom Coach. She has led 18 Teachers and Staff members in a program with 100 enrolled preschool children.
She has been a trainer, coach, and grant writer with Talawah Turf International since 2017, providing training to educators and professional teams as well as writing A-1 grant proposals
where 100% of the clients were awarded.
